In September, a friend suggested I attend Williamsburg, VA during their homeschool days. It was a fantastic opportunity for the kids to run through history--literally. While there (although we did not attend), we also discovered Yorktown and Jamestown both had homeschool days (tickets purchases separately) and that we should have done all of them.
In a conversation today with a friend, we were discussing opportunities and advantages of homeschooling. I started to think about things. Homeschooling gives us flexibility. However, the irony is our schedules do not allow for us to have flexibility. Plus, in the conversation, I also started to think about other places that have homeschool days/discounts. There are plenty. Here are the ones I managed to find...
1. Historic London Town and Garden--the archaeology dig sound fantastic!

2. Mount Vernon
3. PA State Museum
I'll add more later. But here's 3 to look up!
